In our Social Studies and English lessons, we explored the topic of feelings. Using the book “Today I am”, we learned how emotions can be expressed in different ways. In Art the children painted their own fish, each one showing a unique feeling and in Music, the girls and boys expressed emotions through movement and dance.
The children greatly enjoyed this cross-curricular project and were excited to discover how feelings can be shown creatively in many different forms.
